Barbara’s “adorable” apartment is a pepto paradise. The indoor firepit is ill advised in real life, so I found a friendlier option that won’t require ventilation:)

To see Knives Out is to fall in love with the house in which it is set. Every room is packed with so many details. It is chock full of mystery lore and love. The room I set out to recreate is Harlan’s writing room. It is so warm and full of life, weirdly. As a mystery writer, Harlan has references to murder throughout his house. He is of the fun murder genre. The rest of his family are from back stabby noir, and they do not deserve him.
